Now that you say it Tafts car was parked where the Bronco was. They told so many lies that they could not keep them straight. Perhaps they took the Bronco and they did not get it to the yard till 3:30. Maybe some doctoring in between or wipping off finger prints where Fuhrman got in it the night before.
