During the time when the people convicted of murder and one had been in Oakland under FBI survellience, much like Geronimo Pratt, even the DA's office asked for a vacated ruling. It was granted for the two to three men previously convicted. Just after this proceeding, I believe this was in 94 after the murders, Daryl Gates and the detective who used an informant who had told him about how another informant had committed the murder and they had to put someone else up for the charge because that informant was so important so the one informant lied about the one of I believe three guys and they were all convicted. As I say around 94 they were released after twenty years give or take a few years. Daryl Gates stood by this detective knowing he had lied and stated that three murderers were being released on a technicality and one and on, and the reporter states, but the DA's office joined with the motion to vacate the convictions, and Daryl Gates spits out, this is just a political ploy. This guy may be out of his job but he is still part of the lying, scamming and probably the murders.
