These sort of revelations are what blew my mind during the trial. I could not believe the trial was preceding after the police and lab workers kept admitting misconduct that was so egregious. Even Greta Van Susteren seemed puzzled by rulings and such. Several times she even verbalized her wonder that the trial was preceding. When the DNA came into the trial she'd say something like, Normally this is devastating evidence because the Defendant is shown to be at the scene. It is my considered opinion that Chain Of Custody is the rule to how this evidence should be perceived. So she didn't come right out and say, this is planted evidence, but to the watcher who listened to exactly what she said, it was clear. she didn't believe the evidence either.
