Charlie,
AS best as I can tell from reading the transcripts of police testimony, Riske's notes were merely mentioned at the criminal trial, but their content was not read into the record with respect to anything about the blood he allegedly saw at Bundy.
The notes were also brought up at the civil trial. The plaintiff's lawyer asked whether the notes referred to the blood he found on the rear gate, and Riske cofirmed it. they, however, never read into the record whatn the notes specifically said about what he observed.
More interestingly, Phillips interviewed Riske about his observations at Bundy, and according's to what was mentioned about the content of the report Phillips wrote, Riske never mentioned observing the blood on the gates. The judge, however, barred specific citations from the Phillips reports on his interview. Nice, huh?
