No, it is not the same. That door is alongside the north pathway where the killer is alleged to have exited. It is at the bottom of the steep steps and before the steps go up again to another level. It is the maid's room and the maid's room also has another entrance from the kitchen/backdoor area.
The Other front door (glass) is a door that looks like a window in the Living Room area (a glassed in living room). It most probably stayed locked all the time but did open out (to the right < onto the terraced area in front of the living room that was landscaped with low plantings and had a flower planter box in front of the door as you may have seen pictured in trial photos.
From many of the descriptions by the cops of walking out the front door and looking down at both bodies, it appears they are talking about that door as you cannot Do that from 30-40 feet back where the wooden front door is on the covered porch.
Vannatter also says that and then says he looked at the shoeprints to the west and the blood drops which also can't be done from the wooden front door.
The diagrams by the prosecution always disguised that front area and misrepresented that front area so much, we have gotten to wonder about the significance of another front door possibly being open.
