Never heard that before.
There is a mind set that is super conservative and goes all the way to "if they don't conform and respect us" kill them. I think this is much more prevelent in the justice system than is believed. This kind of goes back to spare the rod, taken to the limit of killing. In the bible wife and kids where property. The justice system sees themselves as the "great father".
this has to do a lot with treating kids like adults.
So many of them are really killing the murderer inside of themselves or are being the murderer in a vicarious way.
I just heard on TV that a judge has rulled that it is OK for a prosecutor to ask a prospective jury if they thought OJ is innocent and if they say yes it is a reason for dismissal.
Here we have a system in which the jury is the decider of fact but the prosecutors are mad at this jury who did just that. Now I would think that any one who is a prosecutor would know on some leval that they did the right thing. They hate them because they did not conform. It seems that your average prosecutor does not have justice in their heart but all this hate that they misplace on the accussed and gives them this feeling of power.
I was reading Cora Fishmans testimony and realized that all these people were spinning out of control because they were playing a dangerous psycological game. The game was esculating and they were try ing to get out, but it had already gone to far. Then the trial came along and it became a national game for some and past time for others. I think it is beyond my ability to analyse the game but will probably try at some time. I will post more about this on another board. Glad to see you back, Jasper.
