That VInce Foster decision is a double-edged sword. Of course, you want individual privacy rights but after the person is dead and there are questions about a crime or about their death--I think that should be considered.

And I wonder if the same decision would have been made if the test case had been Ted Bundy, or Ted K. or Tim McVeigh, etc.

I think there should be a consideration of the public's need to know or for the public good. To me public good could mean the full knowledge of a crime or possible crime.
