There was a newspaper article that Kate (who used to post here) and was on the discussion groups) found and showed us.
It told of a national show this girl was on (very much like Faye Resnick on Maury Povich saying--twice --that it was not 9:45 but 10:45 that she talked to Nicole) and what she said. She stated that she had called and talked to him. He was changing and showering, etc to go out and she stated that this was around 10:17-10:20.
Actually, Cochran mentions this conversation in his opening statements to the jury. She never came forward for testimony. Or she made the decision to remain friends with the Goldmans.
BTW, Maury Povich asked Faye didn't she Mean to say 9:45 and she said NO, she meant 10:45.
Just lately, I have become very impressed with the fact that most if not all the barking dog witnesses and others started out saying it was later than they ended up testifying to.
I realize that people can be in error about time but---everybody? and all thought it later than what they changed it to? None changed it the other way? HOw odd.
They were the barking dog witnesses, the dog finder, Penjves (said he heard the dog between 11 and 11:40 as well) and the blind daters, etc. Oh, and Denise P. (the 2 watch lady) and more.
Most if not all these witnesses agreed to not testify to this or change their minds due to the DA's telling them NIcole was already dead.
One good example is the Ice Cream clerk who was adamant that it was 10:30 when Nic was in there with ONLY Sydney and Justin and a guy in a suit. He ONLY changed his story (reluctantly) when told he was wrong because Nic was dead by 10:15. As it was, he would go back no further than 9 so he was not used in court.
