I can't be certain of course because the maps are gone but I am almost 100% positive when I mapped this before (years ago), they routed them down to South of Dana Point and back up throu the city.
I am wondering if there is even an exit OFF I 5 to these roads. If not, they would be forced to travel on down. Perhaps when I 73 was built, the exit was built.
I am not sure about that.
