Point I was making is that while they were debating whether to let Lange relate that he heard Denise yell out the Simpson did it based on the exceited utterance exception to the hearsay rule, Ito asked Clark to bring him a case that qualified as an excited utterance a witness exclaiming about an event about 80 miles away, by which he was, of course, referring to the distance between Rockingham and the Brown residence.
Ito's comment thereby proved that everyone -- the judge, the prosecution and defense well knew exactly how far the Browns had to drive before juditha could have made that phone call, yet they all took great care to hide that information from the jury, but especially the public who would have no idea of the distances involved.
This by itself proves this to be a show trial.
AS an aside to Jasper, the distances they had to drive on city street -- or non-freeway -- are given in the Map Quest info that Charlie sent me.
