I got your letter to today with he other letters, your notes and the phone bill. I'm afraid that I couldn't see the discrepancies you saw in the bill. The reproduction was too badly distorted for me to make anything out for the numbers that appear to be faked in. A copier can create all by itself most of the apparent anomalies that you spotted. The apparent misalignment in the CA is because the place where the call was made was different than all the other and had fewer letters. The charges have always been a bit of a mystery to me so I can't help you much there.
I did notice one thing that makes me think there is another bill… Actually, there has to be because the other record shows the 10:17 call from Dana Point (or is it Monarch Beach) to West LA. What I noticed was a paten of very short calls. The longest call out of all 18 calls on the bill is for 6 minutes on the 9th. Two of the 18 are for five minutes, both of which were made on the morning of the 13th. One is for 3 minutes. The rest are for 2 minutes or less - mostly less. That looks like the pattern of somebody moving around to me, somebody making quick calls on the run. It looks like somebody using a cell phone and the Phone Company billing the calls to the home phone. I don't even know if that's possible.
I saw that there really was a 10:40 call to Nicole. That means Juditha called Nicole twice. But I also noticed a 12:29 PM, and a 12:31 PM call to Nicole on the 12h with a "Night" notation in the "Period" column. Since when is 12: 29 and 12:31 PM at night?
