This stolen SUV thing is exactly Fuhrman's style.
Everything he said and did with respect to the murders had two or more possible explanations, depending on which false trail was discovered. He had alibis for two timelines. He had one that fit the two calls from the women (or woman) around 10:30 about the two bodies ('…on the West Side" and the "…the 800 block of Bundy"). He had another one that fit the timeline agreed on by the defense in the criminal trial and the plaintiffs in the criminal trial. He had different stories ready to go to explain the tapes and a close analysis of his analysis of the blood dorp nearest the ally could explain an SUV facing North OR South. That's one hell of a trick.
The best frame-up would involve a stolen vehicle that O.J. would have had access to, as well as a record that someone driving a vehicle like that was stalking her. If Wasz hadn't been caught, the stalker would have looked like O.J., Paula, Marcus Allen or AC. They all drove white SUVs and it appears from Nicole's expressed concerns about being stalked by someone she could not identify that Wasz intended for her to see the vehicle.
Now comes the good part…
Anywhere we go we are liable to leave some of our skin cells and hair behind. A good place to find them is in a car, if you know what to look for and how to do it (the way a homicide cop would). Another place you might find valuable items to plant like tiny traces of blood (O.J. cut himself a lot) and fingerprints is in a car. Fingerprints can be planted. If you have had experience in lifting them, you will have no trouble figuring out how to plant them. It's really pretty simple. Just put a little Elmer's white glue on your finger and you will see what I mean. Transferable finger impressions can be lifted from other surfaces, as well. When you make rubber molds you have to be careful not to leave your fingerprints on the part or they could show up in the mold. If you get them in the mold they could show up in the part. If you know what you're doing, you can make sure they will show up. O.J. had to have been in Paula's SUV from time to time.
One more goodie, from Fuhrman's point of view…
For the best possible frame you'd want to steel the actual vehicle. If that's impractical, you want to confuse the issue as much as possible (which is what Fuhrman did with his discovery of the blood drop, his story about the stick and the way O.J. parked the Bronco). Fuhrman drove a light green SUV (an International Harvester Scout. Eyewitnesses are notorious for getting the make and color of cars wrong. In the early '80s a mailman who drove a white jeep was falsely convicted of serial rape partly on the identification of the rapists vehicle as a jeep. Ht real rapist's vehicle was dark green. --Jasper
