In Iago I tried to make it clear that the thumps served more than one purpose and that Fuhrman had more than one patsy to take the fall if the murder/frame-up was uncovered. I said it was Fuhrman because he was the only one with the means to control ALL of the variable involved in making them look as guilty as O.J. One of those people was Ron Shipp. Another was Kato Kaelin. Now it looks like Robert Kardashian was another one. Had the prosecution decided early on to follow leads that pointed to a frame-up, Fuhrman was in an ideal position to point the first finger of blame.
My problem with your analysis was the Kato connection, period. Maybe I misunderstood you, but the way I understand it, your take on what happened with Kato and the thumps makes everything you said about the way Fuhrman intended to use Kato to cover himself impossible. I say that because it puts the control in Kato's hands, not Fuhrman's.
The idea of Kato inventing the thumps and Fuhrman taking advantage of Kato's invention do not work together without a whopper of a coincidence piled on top of too may others that all work in Mark Fuhrman's favor. There are always coincidences involved in any complex event. But there are limits and I draw the line when I see a pattern of coincidences favoring one man who could have contrived every one of them. That man is Mark Fuhrman, not Kato Kaelin.
The thumps WERE contrived. The only question is, who is responsible for contriving them, Kato or Fuhrman? If it was Kato, Fuhrman is an innocent man. --Jasper
