Jolana,

Here is something else to look at with respect to Fuhrman and Wasz...

Fuhrman (a former narcotics cop) could have cultivated a half dozen people like Wasz to take care of all manner of things from steeling the Bruno Magli Lorenzos (ONE pair of the shoes is unaccounted for) to using his credit card to establish his second alibi. The last person he would want to use for a chore like this someone who could be traced to him.

According to everything I could figure out before I heard of Wasz, the killing was done by a man with military training and was carried out like a military operation. That means there had to have been reconnaissance missions conducted prior to the hit with respect to all the key players and possible spoilers. It means that there had to have been dry runs and dress rehearsals in the area as close as possible to the time of the murders. Don't rule out Bret Cantor killed in late July, 1993. There is evidence to suggest that the killer intended to take her out on Gretna Green in January but the plan was foiled when Nicole moved to Bundy.

So far Iago in Brentwood is the only place where you can read about a possible Fuhrman connection to Wasz. No other author has even asked the question.

One more thing… The gambling connection… If you read The Smoking Gun, you saw it first there. I've been certain for over a year now that Fuhrman was tied into big-time gambling when he showed up on Rockingham in '84. What threw me was the date. At the time I thought that he went there in '85. That's the sort of thing I'm talking about when I say the truth strengthens a theory when some parts of it are wrong. It would be interesting to know about his gambling habits in today - and how many people he knows in Los Vegas. -- Jasper
