Well, not necessarily if you consider one possibility that could explain the timing of DB's show. On Mar. 8 OJ files for another appeal but this time based on the fact that he was not able to "face his accuser" when a judge didn't allow the defense to call Fuhrman to the trial. Says his constituional rights in that regard were violated.
Then about a week later, DB sends an alert for his program, which is at best a flawed attempt at presenting another possible angle. Perhaps DB was unwittingly used to broadcast more misinformation.
If that is the case, perhaps this Wasz story actually does cross paths with your theory. Could Wasz have been hired by MF?
That would explain to me why the police who interviewed him put a lid on the story. They could've figured it out and as the result of some pressure from those who--by then--needed to prove O.J.'s guilt, could've been pressured to put a lid on the story.
