About Katie Couric--it was after Jay's death and after GR got the 45 million. It was one of the times that they "tried" to put GR on NBC (AM) as a reporter. The topic was the Clinton scandals (don't remember the specifics) but he was so bad in his remarks that even Couric remarked that he had an agenda and that he was being an apologist.
For Couric to say that, GR must have been laying it on thick (as he is wont to do).
I didn't hear it in person. I heard it on talk radio in an audio clip.
It was one of the few times they let GR out of his Rivera LIve! cage. He proved to be so biased as to have ruined a chance at major network job.
