Hi Charlie,
I agree with everything you have said about Rivera.
It's also ironic that one of Rivera's best friends would be Jay Monahan--my idea of the best pundit on this case. Even Rivera said many times that Jay had the "best grasp" of the evidence in this case. And he was truly fair-minded. (Just check out his statements when he was being attacked by Dick Cavett who said in a very nasty way "Oh Come ON! You Know He's Guilty!" And Jay shot back "Oh NO I don't KNOW he's guilty!!") That didn't stop Geraldblow from cutting him off however. And whenver anyone since has tried to present new evidence or clarification of the old evidence, Riversa says "I refuse to re-litigate this case!" How many times have you heard him say that? I've heard it many times over the years. I would reply to him that I agree--let's not re-litigate it--let's LITIGATE it!!---Since we haven't had a real litigation yet!
I was unaware of the Katie Couric comment; Where did you hear it?
The Vannatter comment is most curious and your questions about it are right on point.
