I believe the context of my reply was in response to your maintaining that YOUR theory was the "only one that fitted all the fact". There are a number of no-j theories that make that claim, but there is also my own. You know better than anyone that such other theories making the claim of "fiting all the facts" exist. _________________________________________________________

"The problem I have with your theory of the killer driving the Bronco, is that it was my theory, too, for over a year and a half. In fact, your entire appoach to figuring out who did what and how is the first approach I took (see Occam's Razor in Iago, page 667). Both of us know that applying Occam's Razor is the most logical approach to solving the problem. The difference between us is not how we started looking for the killer, but where and why we stopped. You have to stop somewhere or the search will go on forever and the killer will never be prosecuted for what he did. But if you stop too soon there is good scientific evidence to show that the likelihood of you ever pursing another path if very remote (your brain cells become resistant to forming new networks of association).
"Up to the point where O.J.'s cut finger was starting to pile up more explanations of "coincidence," "lying witnesses" and complex conspircy theories than a credible expanation could stand, the one killer theory seemed to work. From a stricly logical point of view, the best way to frame O.J. would have been for one person to do it (the fewer people involved the better) and for that person to have used shoes and a weapon that could be traced to O.J. and to have driven O.J.'s Bronco and parked it in an incriminating way. ________________________________________________________ The assertion that there was something "incriminating" or "unusual" in the way it was found parked originates with Mark Fuhrman. OJ's explanation that the Bronco was parked at an 'odd' angle because he had to make a sharp right turn of more than 90 degrees out of the Rockingham gate thoroughly explains its position with an innocent explanation. I know that I personally have never suggested anything "incriminating" about its parking position.
Kaelin merely parked it in the exact same position that he took it. This is very easy to do. Remember that Kaelin had to 'fake-out' Oj as well as the rest of the world. OJ himself would have gotten very suspicious if the Bronco had been visibly moved from where he left it. ________________________________________________________ "It was a neat solution that seemed to fit all of the "important" evidence. There were a lot of "little" things that didn't fit, but there were explanations for ALMOSTall of them that left the one killer theory intact -- until I tried to nail down the "little" things that I couldn't get to work. Every time I tried to resolve the details associatied with the cut finger and the blood that was supposed to have come from it on Bundy and in and around the Rockingham estate, I ran into a logical inconsistency that ruled out everyone except O.J. and Ron Shipp.

"O.J. said that the didn't know when he cut himself. His best guess (which happens to give him an alibi that everyone can appreciate) is that it didn't happen until he was dressed and ready to go to the airport at 11:03. That was the first time he said he noticed it. The real blood trail at Rockingham consisting of the bloodrops that Fung, not Roberts, marked say he cut himself shortly before he walked the dog at 10:04. That was right after his second cell phone call to Paula Barbiari. His first stop was the Bronco where he looked for a missing golf club while Chachi was reliefing herself across the street. It seems likely that he did get some of his blood inside the Bronco at that time. ________________________________________________________ Sorry, Jasper, but you've got some facts wrong.
First OJ goes to the Bronco while packing the limo to get cell phone accessories and receives the cut. Second, he gets back to Park and Kaelin and Kaelin starts telling him the story about the thumps. Third, OJ goes into the kitchen to look for a flashlight to investigate the thumps. THEN AND ONLY THEN does he notice he is bleeding and wipes it with "a napkin or something".
When he went to the Bronco looking for a golf club, it was 10:03, as established by the cell phone record of his second call to Barbieri. HE DID NOT GO INTO THE DRIVER/PASSENGER PART OF THE BRONCO AT THAT TIME. At least, not according to what he said on his "OJ: the Interview" videotape. _____________________________________________________
"The amount of it that was found in the Bronco was consistant with a small cut like the droplits of his blood that Fung collected on the driveway. Between 10:04 when O.J. went to the Bronco to 10:15 or 10:20 when went into the house, ______________________________________________________ here's where you make your big timeline mistake, Jasper. According to what OJ said on his videotape, Chachi the dog came running out and dumped in the nighbor's property across the street as he was making his call to Barbieri. OJ reported that he then walked with Chachi (who was not on a leash) around to the Ashford gate, through it, into the main house through the garage (OJ shuts the door) and kitchen and to his room upstairs.
Jasper, there is simply no way that activity took the 11 to 16 minutes you suggest here. Two or three is more like it.
Anyway, OJ is out of sight of the Bronco at about 10:04/5. My guess is that Kaelin, in dark clothes, is watching OJ from the abundant darkness of the front lawn and "borrows" the Bronco for the crime at roughly 10:05, putting him at Bundy at 10:10 or so. _____________________________________________________ "he was outside in the front yard chipping golf balls (Iago, page 475). ________________________________________________________ This is a big, big goof, Jasper! According to what he said on his video, OJ did his golf chipping BEFORE he went out to the Bronco and made the second Barbieri call. _______________________________________________________ "When you factor in the 2-degree angle at which the Bronco was parked and the acute angle between the driveway and the curb, the only story that fits all of the facts is O.J.'s. That includes what he said about not knowing when he was cut. The blood drops prove that he didn't know -- but the killer did. --Jasper ______________________________________________________ Didn't know what, Jasper?
