Getting the dates wrong on those occasions when O.J. was supposed to have done the kinds of things that would make him a good candidate for a "rage" killer was something that Faye Resnick did quite bit of in her book according to Christian Reichardt. In Killing Time, he told Ian Bowater that Faye did not keep a diary. Therefore, she would not have had an easy time with the dates even if she hadn't been strung out on cocaine - which she was.
Reichardt said flat out that her accusations about O.J. were lies. He could prove it, and he did, as you noted, by the dates. And as you also noted, those dates that proved O.J. could not have done what Faye said he did were promptly dismissed as unimportant. The most important thing to me is how the style of her book's original draft (hers, not her ghostwriter's) match up to Nicole's so-called diaries.
Is there a source we can go to for "Nicole's" diaries? --Jasper
