This puts me very much in mind of your comments of mirror images and thinking we see something that we don't really see. That we "fill in the blanks".
It would take still shots (enlarged probably) to get into this more.
But the casual observer just sees--mailbox, steps, gate, fence. It is like a "flash" because that is all the "time" the tv gives you for it to register on your brain. Then it is gone.
Also think of this. We saw the same CROPPED photos that Dr. Lee saw. In many of those photos any identifying location marks or details were cropped OUT of the photo. If they were even there in the first place.
It is why we see MF showing the blooddrop photos placed one direction and other witness having the same photo up side down from the way that MF had it on the board.
I think I have discovered yet another way that the Show Trial was deceptive--deliberately--for the tv audience (and the jury too of course).
I think it would be interesting if photos could be compared. The gate for example---and the pattern on it.
Also, on a Hard Copy--about the OJ video being filmed they show a video (very very clear focused) of the walkway out front and there is the most lovely shoeprint on the tile that you have ever seen. Plain as day. Just a Dr. Lee claimed it was---only he said he was never shown clear enough photos to be absolutely sure.
I contend that they didn't want the viewers to get good clear photos in which to compare. Even the shoeprint ones. I learned last night by stop action that the BM shoes Dont have deep grooves in the soles after all. A pattern yes, but deep grooves---no. charlie
