There was another trial this weird in LA in the seventies where the police dept. sat on a gun that linked the Manson Family with the Tate/La Biana murders. Ever wonder what might have happened had the finder of the gun not gone to the press with the information on finding the gun he gave to the LAPD? I doubt it would have come up and most likely no conviction and perhaps the race war would have begun then. Funny how all these cases in LA, Geronimo Pratt, and others keep happening in LA? They happen elsewhere but nothing like this. Look at how the police were really held to ridicule in the Jon Benet Case, yet very little was stated in the O.J. Simpson case, the media did their damdest to protect them.
