Bob – Do you have videos of Kathleen Sullivan on E! TV. The two I’ve been looking for were made between breaks in the trial. In one of those segments she made side-by-side comparisons of the Bruno Magli Lorenzos and the shoes O.J, wore to the recital. I need a clear picture of O.J.’s recital shoes. In another segment she talked with her expert guest about Heidstra’s description of the vehicle Fuhrman drove that evening. That question did not come up in the trial. However, when Kathleen Sullivan said that it was the 1980 International Harvester Scout he had back in ’86, her guests just smiled and nodded the way people do when someone says something that’s common knowledge. ............... I have to tell you that what I wrote about Fuhrman saying when he left La Quinta does not need to be corrected. I see now that it does have to be explained. ...............I wrote: “When you check the transcripts of what he told Marcia Clark on the witness stand about the Police Protective League seminar in La Quinta, you will see that he only IMPLIED that the left at or around 8:00 p.m. What he actually SAID was that he left BEFORE 8:00 p.m.” ..............I did not put his words in quotes because you get them in the first section of Fuhrman’s Alibi on High Points where your radio chat with Fuhrman appears in the last section http://smartfellowspress.com/Fuhrmans_Alibi.htm . I wasn’t talking about his exact words per sec. I was talking about the message he conveyed by using them. The message was that left BEFORE 8:00 p.m. .............This is how he did it: He lets Marcia set the stage but giving 8:00 p.m. as the approximate time in question. Marcia: “ON THE EVENING OF JUNE THE 12TH, 1994 AT APPROXIMATELY 8:00 P.M., WHERE WERE YOU?” ............Fuhrman repeats “approximately 8:00 p.m.” and says he was in La Quinta. But he uses the IMPLIED START TIME of the BARBEQUE, not the time on his watch or a radio program that was coming on as he got in his car, as a time marker for 8:00. In other words, he makes 8 o’clock and the start time of the barbeque synonymous. ............Marcia: “OKAY. AND WHAT TIME DID YOU LEAVE?” ...........Fuhrman: “I BELIEVE I LEFT SOMEWHERE AROUND 8:00 O'CLOCK JUST AS THE BARBECUE WAS STARTING.” ............What evidence do we have that the barbeque started anywhere around 8:00? What does that mean, anyway? When does something like that “start”? In effect, Fuhrman gave himself an alibi that covers a killing time range of 10:03 (the time on Nicole’s broken watch) to 10:45 (when Heidstra saw the SUV) depending on when the barbeque started. Saying that he left just as it was GETTING started gives him lots of drive time flexibility in his Pomona credit card alibi to cover his real actions. –Jasper.
