There is something about the OJ Simpson case that produces strong feelings in all of the people who study it. I doubt there is any poster on this poster that hasn’t felt attacked by other posters at times. Some days we handle the feelings of being attacked better than other days. When I was a new poster, I often quit posting on a topic when I would get those feelings. I really wanted everyone to just post nicely. What I have discovered over the years is very often those threads that start the feelings of being attacked end up to be areas where we make greatest discoveries and really clarify the issue we are discussing…. I know being a new poster to our board is not easy. There is no way anyone could hold in their memory all of the things we have discussed over the years even if they had the time to research the whole site. Even those who have been here a long time tend to forget what we have worked on in the past. That is why the archives are so important to us. …When Pavelic made that “spoiled brat” comment, I laughed. If he had made that remark when I was a new poster, I wouldn’t have laughed. That is how I have changed. ….. I appreciated your honesty in telling Pavelic you were “appalled” by his remark. Honest posters are very welcome here even if it does not seem like it sometimes. I won’t promise you that you will never feel attacked again if you continue to post. I can tell you that being part of a group whose is actively searching for the truth is a very rewarding experience.
