The Iago Discussion Board forum is for fact checking Iago in Brentwood and discussing anything  associated with the book. It was set up in 1998 as a dynamic supplement to the book, which went online two years before it was published in hardback, and to test the Iago hypotheses against pertinent facts as they became available. To be effective, it had to be open to everyone who could assist in the process of sorting out facts from misinformation. Unfortunately, the absence of censorship also allows posters with nefarious or frivolous intent to do as they please.   

For a decade we withstood spam attacks (tens of thousands of nuisance posts per month mostly on inactive boards, starting with handbag sales on The Smoking Gun Board), malicious postings on the active board and hackers doing their dirty work in the background. Hackers were able to write disruptive commands into our files, to penetrate our hosting site and make the board unusable from time to time. 

Although these attacks were annoying and sometimes crippling, they could not shut the board down for good. Our decision to close the board took the events surrounding O.J.'s Las Vegas trial on and off the board. It took zero response from O.J., his friends, family or lawyers, the relative indifference to the plight of Clarence Stewart and the persistence of some posters in using the board to attack what it was created to do. If the pattern of answering these "detour" posts continues, the board will be shut down again.

You can make a case for almost anything that can be seen with the mind's eye using the right choice of words and static pictures. If you try it with pictures in motion the only things you can show without visual conflicts are the things that don't actually conflict. 

Animations turns testimony from the transcripts along with other relevant material into visual representations that can be compared to hard evidence, photos and the spoken and written word. By studying the animations that come from evidence and testimony in the various trials you can see what testimony and evidence match and don't match the physical layout of the property, the time intervals indexed to phone records and other "clocks" and the motion of the people involved. The animations are analytical tools that can and should be used as such to test which visual accounts of critical events are consistent with the laws of physics and logic and which ones aren't.
