Northridge 1:05 Map (January 17 date – Official Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday) The map below was derived from identifying Mark Fuhrman's 5th Bundy crime scene note as a code taken from the "To Serve Man" episode of Rod Serling's Twilight Zone. That episode links the 1:05 time that Fuhrman said he received the call from Ron Phillips about the "double homicide" on Bundy to the two ways that Nicole Simpson's 24-hour Swiss Army watch can be read. Reading both the hour hand and the minute hand according to the numbers they point to on the watch (1 and 5), 1:05 = 1:17. A 24 hour "clock" is used by the military to clearly distinguish a.m. from p.m. Police also use a 24-hour clock for the same reason. Fuhrman uses it in his Bundy notes. "To Serve Man,": a story about space aliens and a code breaker working for the Army to decode an alien book, tells you that minutes and hours can be interpreted as months and days on a calendar. It also gives you a time zone map coordinate and an island near Costa Rica that meshes with a map scene in "To Serve Man" and a line in Fuhrman's Murder in Brentwood about a "joke" he told on the Bundy murder scene. 1:17 read as a month and a day is January 17. And that date gives you the epicenter of the 1994 Northridge Earthquake on a holiday named after Martin Luther King, Jr. The ovals on and below the map show what else it gives you.
Remember that one detective on Bundy automatically gives you two because the detectives worked in pairs. The home of Fuhrman's partner, Bradford Harold Roberts is not represented on this map but the 1:18 time he was called is represented by the freeway closest to the earthquake's epicenter Highway 118. – Jasper |
